II. Scope of Permitted Imported Goods
Serbian pet food production and processing enterprises exporting to China should implement a hygiene management system based on Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) principles, approved by Serbian official authorities and subject to their supervision. Products must meet Serbian requirements and be permitted for free sale in the Serbian domestic market.

VII. Product Requirements
Product requirements stipulate that pet food exported to China must comply with Chinas animal epidemic management regulations, undergo sample testing before export, and must not contain prohibited items as defined by Chinese laws and regulations or any toxic or harmful substances that endanger animal health, while meeting relevant safety and hygiene standards of both China and Serbia.
VIII. Pre-Export Inspection and Certificate Requirements
Pet food exported to China shall be inspected and quarantined by Serbian authorities, who shall issue health certificates confirming the products meet the requirements specified in the bilateral protocol.
IX. Entry Quarantine Approval
Importing enterprises must obtain an Entry Animal and Plant Quarantine Permit in accordance with relevant regulations before signing trade contracts.
